Cynthia de la Vega Stripped of Miss Mexico World Title
Cynthia de la Vega is supposed to be the representative of Mexico in the upcoming Miss World beauty pageant...
for winning first runner up in the Miss Mexico pageant in September 2010.
Unfortunately, the 19-year-old beauty has gained six pounds with three months to go before the Miss World pageant in London that's why she was stripped of her title last month.
Although De la Vega admits to gaining weight, she was shocked by the decision of her directors to replace her because she was never aware of a clause in her agreement about the weight requirements for the competition.
The pageant organizers Nuestra Belleza Mexico, on the other hand, have denied that weight gain is the reason for de la Vega's ousting.
They said de la Vega lost the title becaue of "lack of dedication and discipline" and because she “did not comply with the recommendations and goals agreed upon for her preparation.”
